Karen’s Commitment
Thank you for taking the time to read my bio and testimonials. I hope you have also had an opportunity to view the video and watch me in action. No doubt, in the process, you’ve learned a few things about who I am and what I do. Now I’d like to share some relevant information about my business philosophy and my commitment to you.
When I worked as a choreographer, I always started with a piece of music to guide my decisions about the dance piece. For me you, the client, are that piece of music. The work begins with our first conversation when I listen to your needs and desired outcomes. Your story will be my guide as I craft a presentation designed to make your event dynamic, entertaining, and successful.
I bring my expertise, personal stories and skill sets to your event. But, my presentation will have your fingerprints all over it. I’ll use your language, imagery, and branding to facilitate experiential learning for your group — learning that sticks. Much of my material and knowledge base has grown and developed from client relationships. I am very committed to deep listening and research. I love to learn.
I will create a living classroom for your people, igniting new thoughts and perspectives through the exchange of ideas. I’m not intimidated by audience participation. In fact, I often encourage it. Many times the wisest comment of the day comes from a participant. I will draw people out and weave their voices into meaningful additions to the presentation. Because of my background in live theatre, I also have the ability to improvise and “go with the flow” if something unexpected occurs.
Like many other speakers, I have the corny belief that I have the best job in the world. As a professional woman with young children, I love that I can structure my schedule around sand castles, fevers, and birthday celebrations. This joy follows me on the road to every client.
Part of my job is to make your job easier. I like to think (and it has been said) that I am easy to work with. I have spent time on and off the stage, but I’m not a diva. Divas have no place in a successful business production. From the moment you hand me the microphone, you will have a fully-engaged, grateful, and competent presenter working for you.
Thank you for your kind consideration,

Karen Marsolek
