Karen’s Demo Video – 6 minutes

This video completed production in the spring of 2010. It is my first attempt at trying to capture the essence of my work in six minutes or less. Not an easy task. I am very grateful to Colin Rugierro for his gifts as a film maker. Thanks also to Jake Fleming for composing a beautiful music bed in which I could lay the new baby. Ignite Missoula – 5 minutes

Everybody’s Belly Button. I gave this speech at the inaugural event for Ignite Missoula.
“Enlighten us, but make it quick” is the slogan of Ignite–a community event celebrating the passion and creativity of geek culture. Ignite events showcase a series of speakers who, in rapid succession, give five-minute talks on whatever ignites their passion. The format is half the fun with Ignite–speakers are allowed 20 slides that auto-forward every 15 seconds, whether they’re ready or not.
